Birla Open Minds Bhopal | International School Bhopal

The school’s own festival

Bhopal’s biggest children’s talent and sports festival, hosted across the campus. Children competed in track and field and team sports, performed on stage, and filled an art wall that ran the length of the corridor.

The 2026 edition is complete. Dates for the next one are announced here and on the school’s social channels, and registration opens closer to the event.

Open to schools across Bhopalnot only to our own children

Sport, stage and artthree floors to compete on

Held on campusacross the whole site, not one hall

Open to the city, not only to our own

The championship is how the school opens the campus to Bhopal. Children from schools across the city compete here, which means a child from this school spends the day measured against the city rather than against the class next door.

A competitive floor is a particular thing to stand on. A child who has only ever performed for a class finds out what it is to perform for a hall, and what it is to lose and come back the next year.
